An Upscale Chicago Wine Tasting Bar
Who says all Chicago wine bars are stuffy? The vibe at ENO is approachable and lively, with an easygoing staff on hand to help you choose from our international selection of wines, cheeses, and chocolates. Try out our casual take on the tasting scene - no pressure and no pretense, just a few friendly tips and off you go. We can recommend pairings, suggest flights, and answer questions about anything on the menu. ENO sits in the center of the contemporary lobby in our Chicago luxury hotel, in an elegant space encircled by an open work bronze and crystal art wall. Dramatic, 10-foot-tall temperature-controlled oak cabinets showcase and store the wines at their optimal temperatures, and the lighting is soft and intimate. If you’re looking for a fresh new downtown hangout, this Chicago wine tasting room just might be it.
Our Blind Flights
Every Sunday evening, Eno Wine Room offers blind tastings from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. where guests can put their knowledge to the test. If they can correctly identify five things about three wines including age, region, country, grape(s) and whether it's Old world or New world, the tasting is compliments of the sommelier. Two tasting menus are available, depending on your wine comfort level. They include:
- "Sommelier Someday"- This tasting includes three pours of middle-of-the-road wines that the average wine drinker should be able to identify. ($25 per person)
- "Grand Cru Taster"- This one is for the wine aficionado. The tasting includes unique and diverse wines that will be more difficult to name. Since the challenge is more difficult, winners will also be entered into a drawing for a magnum of wine (1 per week). ($30 per person)
