Cheeseheads make good!

It is no secret we love Washington State wines. We won an award for the best Washington State wine list from an out of state restaurant this year. While some of the wines are quite expensive (that’s a reference to you Quilceda Creek), the price to quality is well above most Napa wines. Just ask yourself how much would Quilceda be if it were in Napa? Would it be up there with Harlan? Probably.

We have always the guys from Dusted Valley to be rock solid, genuine winemakers and overall good guys. It does help that they are Midwest boys from Wisconsin a little. We naturally like cheeseheads. Top to bottom they make great wine, year after year. Boomtown is an extremely affordable introductory line of wines from them and Dusted Valley is their “higher” end line. Several of the Dusted Valley wines are extremely small production. One you have tasted the Squirrel Tooth Alice Syrah, you will guard each bottle with your life.

They are making wine from Washington, so expect the deep berry and chocolate that go hand in hand with Washington Syrah. If you have a chance to snag a bottle of Malbec, grab it!
