BLANCO DE TEMPRANILLO

What has been our most popular wine lately? It would be the Blanco de Tempranillo from Pago del Vicario in Spain. Made from the free-run juice of the Tempranillo grape, they only made 10,000 bottles of the 2008. Yeah, that’s right, 10,000 BTLS, not cases! A nice candied orange nose and just a hint of pink to the color. It is a crisp, dry, refreshing wine for anyone who is looking to move beyond pinot grigio. Since there is so little of this wine, our advise would be–HURRY!
